A Cardiac MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to create detailed pictures of the heart and blood vessels. It helps doctors evaluate the heart’s structure, function, and blood flow. During the procedure, a contrast dye may be injected into a vein to enhance the images and provide more detailed information about the heart's condition. In some cases, medications may also be given to help improve the heart's ability to be seen on the MRI, especially if certain areas are difficult to assess. The test is safe, painless, and typically takes 30-60 minutes to complete.
