MINNEAPOLIS (May 15, 2024) — Cambridge Medical Center earned an “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group. This organization assigns a grade to hospitals across the country based on the hospital’s efforts to prevent errors, accidents, injuries and infections. “A” is the top grade.

It’s important to note that the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is the only hospital ratings program focused exclusively on preventable medical errors, infections and injuries. The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade is peer-reviewed, fully transparent and free to the public. Grades are updated twice annually, in the fall and spring.
