Abbott Northwestern Hospital is ranked first in the Twin Cities and second in the state for the twelfth consecutive year. Mercy and United hospitals tied for fifth in the state of Minnesota.

Mercy Hospital received high performing grades in the following areas: pulmonology & lung surgery; COPD; colon cancer surgery; heart attack; heart failure; hip replacement; knee replacement; leukemia, lymphoma & myeloma; lung cancer surgery; pneumonia and stroke.
United Hospital received high-performing grades in the following areas: COPD; colon cancer surgery; diabetes; heart attack; heart failure; hip replacement; knee replacement; lung cancer surgery; pneumonia; prostate cancer surgery and stroke.
