[Faribault Daily News, April 26, 2019] For Allina Health, health goes beyond a person’s physical well-being. That’s led to a new partnership with HealthFinders Collaborative to address patient needs that go beyond the clinic.
Allina Health, which owns District One Hospital in Faribault and clinics in Faribault and Northfield, has received $50,000 through UCare to address health inequities throughout Minnesota.
According to Allina Health Director of Community Engagement and Development Natalie Ginter, Allina will target five health-related social needs: food insecurity, housing, transportation, trouble with paying utilities and interpersonal violence within the home.
