Creative solutions: how 3D printers at Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute are creating unique solutions for patients

[KSTP-TV News, June 11, 2024] Allina Health Courage Kenny Institute (CKRI) - Golden Valley is using 3D printers to make personalized tools for patients with disabilities.

“Printing can really break down the barriers when you can design an adaptive device that doesn’t exist,” said Matthew White, OTR/1, an occupational therapist with CKRI.

KSTP-TV sent a reporter to talk to White and his patient Brandon St. Germaine who uses a wheelchair and needed a cell phone holder for his chair. Watch the story below.
