How internet addiction impacts the brains of teens

[KARE 11 News, June 15, 2024] There is a such thing as internet addiction, and a new study says it can disrupt how our brains function, especially when it comes to teens.

With that in mind, Allina Health psychologist David Nathan, PsyD, LP is sharing information to help parents and teens manage internet usage. In an interview with KARE 11 News, he explained the dangers off too much social media/internet usage, warning signs that a teen may need to reduce screen time/internet usage and the tough decisions parents may have to make to ensure their children don’t become screen addicts.
