FDA approves first nasal spray to treat severe allergic reactions

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved Neffy, a nasal spray to treat severe allergic reactions known as anaphylaxis. It is the first alternative to the EpiPen that does not require a needle. The FDA approved Neffy as an emergency treatment for children and adults experiencing anaphylaxis. Allina Health allergist Pramod Kelkar, MD  told KSTP-TV that this newly approved nasal spray is a game changer.
