Minnesota man helps explain how virtual orthopedic urgent care works

[Allina Health Newsroom, November 12, 2024] Tim Long lives a short distance from the Buffalo Crossroads Clinic in Buffalo, MN. He went there for help when a quick move during racquetball practice sent him crashing to the floor. Feeling excruciating pain, Tim knew he needed medical treatment; however, the intake nurse said it could be hours before he would be seen at the clinic’s urgent care. Seeing Tim’s pain, she suggested he give Allina Health’s virtual orthopedic urgent care a try.

Tim reluctantly followed her suggestion and was pleasantly surprised when he connected with Nick Reich, MS, PA-C, a physician assistant with Allina Health Orthopedics.
