Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute patient raises awareness about traumatic brain injuries

[KARE 11 News, December 12, 2024] Richard Herod III lives with a traumatic brain injury. The once charismatic face of White Bear Mitsubishi and its catchy commercials had to take a step back from a career he loved to focus more on his recovery. He says he has between 8 and 15 medical appointments a week, including his work with an occupational therapist at Allina Health Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute in Stillwater. As he works toward being the best version of himself, he is also raising awareness about traumatic brain injuries, which can be described, at times, as an invisible disability.
