Philanthropic giving creates places for expert care of the future

A construction site at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis is increasingly a towering visual example of Allina Health donor generosity.
It’s the framework for a future surgical and critical care center funded partly by philanthropic giving to Allina Health Foundation.
“This new building will allow us to marry the great care at Abbott with high-tech spaces,” said Dr. Jean Watson, medical staff project lead. “It cements our place as a top hospital in Minnesota and the Upper Midwest.”
