The Courage Kenny Adaptive ski and snowboard program brings hundreds of people to the slopes every year, making sure that a disability doesn’t keep participants from enjoying the winter sports. A Minnesota Public Radio (MPR) reporter joined the program at Welch Village Ski and Snowboard area to give her listeners a chance to hear the ingenuity, camaraderie and fun experienced by the participants, their families and the volunteers who help them get up and down the hills. The program is powered by dedicated volunteers and generous donors:
Courage Kenny Ski and Snowboard Ski-A-Thon - Allina Health. This year, three volunteers teamed up to match every dollar donated, up to $50,000. That means if you donate $5, $10 will go to the program.
