Allina Health clinics are not providing return to work/school notes (doctors' notes) at this time.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the CDC recommends that employers do not require their employees to get a return to work note from their doctor for an upper respiratory illness. This is to ensure that health care providers can remain focused on patient care while there is great need for medical care services. If you are an employee, you and your employer should work together to decide when you should stay home based on your symptoms and risk factors. Employers should follow the recommendations of local, state and federal agencies.
