Residents rotate at: Mercy Hospital, St. Cloud Hospital, North Metro Surgical Center, North Memorial and Maple Grove Hospitals. However, the program has affiliation agreements with many other local institutions, where residents may participate in clinical and surgical experiences.

Mercy Hospital

Mercy Hospital is located on two campuses in the North Metro: Coon Rapids and Fridley. It is dedicated to providing quality, cost-effective health care to more than 225,000 households across 27 neighboring communities in the North Metro. Mercy Hospital offers a vast array of services and programs, providing a continuum of care from disease prevention to technically advanced inpatient and outpatient care.

Mercy Hospital is among the best hospitals in Minnesota and the nation, according to U.S. News and World Report's “America's Best Hospitals” 2023-24 rankings. Mercy Hospital tied for second best in the Twin Cities and fourth in Minnesota. It was rated high-performing in pulmonology and lung surgery and in 12 other adult procedures.
