Ellen Arnold, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Ellen grew up in Kimball, Minnesota. She attended the College of Saint Benedict in Saint Joseph, Minnesota where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry. She went on to the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy. While in pharmacy school, Ellen held an internship & served as the chief intern at the University of Minnesota Medical Center. Her professional interests include oncology and infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, Ellen enjoys running or biking the trails in the Twin Cities, downhill or cross-country skiing, and spending time with her family and friends.
Carissa Bradley, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Carissa grew up in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. She attended the University of Minnesota Duluth, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to earn her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy, completing didactic courses on the Duluth campus. Her professional interests include cardiology and infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys reading, traveling, going to new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family, friends, and her Boston Terrier.
Nada El Faham, PharmD
PGY2 Infectious Diseases Resident
Nada mostly grew up in Alexandria, Egypt and completed her degree from Faculty of Clinical Pharmacy, Alexandria University. She moved on to gain her PharmD through equivalency examinations (FPGEC certificate) in the United States. She then proceeded to complete her PGY1 pharmacy practice residency at Abbott. Her professional interests include multi-drug resistance and antimicrobial stewardship. Following PGY2, she hopes to pursue an infectious diseases specialist position. Outside of pharmacy, she enjoys traveling, trying new food, reading fantasy novels, and going on walks with her husband.
Brey Fure, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Brey grew up in Woodbury, Minnesota. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities Campus. While in pharmacy school, Brey was the lead intern at Woodwinds Hospital and a pharmacy intern at Children’s Hospital. Her primary area of professional interest is infectious diseases. Outside of pharmacy, Brey enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, gardening, and watching European soccer.
Danielle P. Konan, PharmD
PGY2 Cardiology Resident
Danielle was born in Davis, California. She grew up between State College, Pennsylvania and Nashville, Tennessee, with the latter considered her hometown. Since then, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Notre Dame and obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan. In June 2024, she completed her PGY1 residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Her professional interests include heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, cardiac transplantation, and cardiovascular emergencies. Outside of pharmacy, Danielle enjoys baking, peloton, football (aka “soccer”), going out for food and drinks, and spending time with friends and family.
Bailey LaCoursiere, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Bailey completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Dakota before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy – Twin Cities. While in pharmacy school, Bailey worked as an intern at United Hospital. Her professional interests include oncology and infectious diseases. She also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy and hopes to incorporate teaching into her future practice. In her free time, Bailey enjoys running, reading, watching sports, and spending time with her family.
Shannon Lopez, PharmD
PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident
Shannon was born in California and grew up across several states, as well as in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Shannon earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Washington and her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Washington School of Pharmacy in Seattle, Washington. Her professional interests include transplant medicine and oncology. Shannon enjoys weightlifting, thrifting, and spending time outdoors with her two sons.
Jake Woodruff, PharmD
PGY1/PGY2 HSPAL Pharmacy Resident (2024-2026)
Jake is one of our PGY1 pharmacy residents that is completing a 2-year commitment through our nationally recognized HSPAL residency program. Before starting his residency with Abbott, Jake held internships at both Hennepin County Medical Center and Regions Hospital. Jake has a strong passion for student-run free clinics and is currently serving as a pharmacy preceptor at the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic. In addition to this, Jake also serves as a member of the ASHP PALRC Advocacy and Practice Advancement Workgroup and as the Vice Chair for the MSHP Social Media Committee. In his free time, he likes to try new restaurants around the Twin Cities area and spend time with his family and friends.
