Allina Health Foundation Healthcare Careers Scholarship

Allina Health Foundation (formerly Buffalo Hospital Foundation) will award ten scholarships to students in Wright County who plan to pursue health care careers in their post-secondary education.

The Foundation will give a total of ten $2,000 scholarships this year. There will be a recipient from each of the nine local school districts, as well as one home school or private school student. Students must meet the following selection criteria:

• Acceptance at either a two or four-year post-secondary institution for fall of 2025.
• Pursuit of a health care degree.
• Respect of their peers and teachers.
• Homeschool or private school students must show proof of residency in Wright County.

Applications for 2025 are now closed. 

The Wright County health care scholarships are funded entirely through sales at the Buffalo Hospital Gift Shop. Gift Shop hours are Monday - Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Eligible school districts are: Annandale Public Schools #876, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools #877, Dassel-Cokato Schools #466, Delano Public Schools#879, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Public Schools #2687, Maple Lake Public Schools #881, Monticello Public School District #882, Rockford Area School District #883 and St. Michael-Albertville Schools #885.
