Once you submit your request to become a EMI PACS user, Information Services (IS) will evaluate your request to establish an EMI PACS log-in ID and determine whether you need an RSA token.
Once your request has been processed, you will receive communications about how to access and utilize EMI PACS. These communications will be included in the RSA token packet or sent to you via email.
Like remote access to Excellian, EMI PACS is accessed through Allina Health Remote Applications.
Users must have a high-speed connection and, in most cases, an RSA token to log in to Allina Health Remote Applications.
EMI PACS is free. However, the RSA token necessary to log in to Allina Health Remote Applications is $150.
Allina Health provides the initial RSA token at no charge to Allina Health providers and business partners who are credentialed to practice at an Allina Health hospital or clinic. If a customer loses or breaks their RSA token, however, there will be a $150 charge for a replacement token, billed to the customer's employer.

Your employer will be charged $150 for a replacement token.
The tokens are under warranty and will be replaced free of charge in the event they become defective.
