The Allina Health Practitioner Health and Wellness Committee recommends the following resources to physicians and practitioners credentialed or employed by Allina Health to support their health and well-being.

The Center for Provider Well-being (CPWB)

The Center for Provider Well-being (CPWB) was established in 2022 by providers, for providers. Dr. Mary Beth Lardizabal leads this work as system medical director for provider wellbeing at Allina Health along with the team of Wellbeing Leads across provider specialties and regions. We are committed to the promotion of professional fulfillment through organizational and individual initiatives, research and education. We advance structures, processes, community and support so that every clinician can flourish as a whole person.

Allina Health Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Get help: Feeling overwhelmed?

EAP offers confidential assistance and support for:

  • stress at work
  • financial or legal advice
  • coping with the death of a loved one
  • strengthening your relationship with your family.

Integrative health and wellness coaching

  • Access webinars on a variety of health and wellness topics, presented by the integrative health and wellness coaches at PGIHH. Visit Learn it Live to browse recorded webinars
  • Work one-on-one (in-person or over-the-phone) with an integrative health and wellness coach to identify barriers, discover personal motivators, and develop a personalized plan to meet your health and well-being goals.

LiveWell Fitness Center resources

The LiveWell Fitness Center is here to support your well-being! Staffed by exercise physiologists, physical therapists, licensed nutrition experts, wellness coaches and Pilate’s specialists, LiveWell offers a wide variety of services (including exercise, nutrition and motivational plans) to help you meet your goals.

From the Twin Cities Medical Society: Free consulting and counseling services to help Minnesota physicians, residents, medical students, and their families with the stressors that impact their lives and their practice. They provide a safe harbor to empower and equip you with the tools you need to take care of yourself as well as your patients. They also specialize in substance abuse.
