Application requirements

  • A curriculum vitae
  • A personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation attesting to your academic and personal qualifications including one from your current program director.
  • Applicants must possess a valid ECFMG certificate (if you graduated from a medical school outside of the U.S. or Canada)
  • Must be board-eligible or certified in Cardiology and must have current, unrestricted Minnesota State Medical Licensure.

Applications will be accepted until March 6. 

Advanced Structural Heart Disease Fellow 2025-2026

The Fellowship in Advanced Structural Heart Disease (SHD) Interventions at the Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (AHMHI) is designed to train qualified applicants in various aspects of percutaneous valvular and other non-valvular, adult and congenital structural interventions. Graduates of our 1-year training program are expected to be fully proficient in performing all aspects of structural interventional techniques.
