Allina Health Minneapolis Heart Institute (AHMHI) has consistently and purposefully advanced cardiovascular care for the benefit of all since 1981. With more than 30 specialty programs and services, including a mobile app and curbside consultations for providers, AHMHI cares for more Minnesotans than any other cardiovascular program in the state.
As a nationally and internationally recognized cardiology leader, AHMHI is committed to healthcare delivery innovation, expanded access to care, clinical excellence, transformational leadership, research and education. Experienced AHMHI researchers routinely perform
clinical trials and proudly partner with the
Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation, a collaboration that has led to many first-of-their-kind procedures. AHMHI also keeps patients close to home with its TeleHeart program and more than 40 rural and regional clinic outreach sites in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
In 2023, AHMHI announced it would launch the nation’s first 24/7 cardiovascular comprehensive Care and Coordination Center, known as C5, beginning in January 2024. It continued to see growth in its ambulatory surgery center where care can be provided more conveniently and with lower cost. AHMHI also continues its efforts to recruit top talent to further increase access to care and expand locations.
