Memorable Memorial Day dip
If you're booked for a picnic or family gathering this Memorial Day, here is a delicious and healthy veggie dip to bring. With less than 100 calories per serving, you can enjoy it guilt free with your favorite in-season veggies like cauliflower, radishes, carrots, green onion, bell peppers and celery.
Ingredients
- 1 pint fat-free cottage cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon grated onion
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- In a small bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix.
- Serve immediately with fresh vegetables, pita bread or both.* Cover leftovers and store in the refrigerator.
Makes 12 servings.
