The increased energy and decreased nausea that is common in the second trimester can increase your sense of well-being. You may have increased blood flow and swelling of your breasts, labia and vagina. Because of these changes, you may have strong sexual urges and feel very sexual.
Your partner may or may not be as enthusiastic. This can cause some tension, especially if you see this as a rejection. It is important that the two of you talk about your feelings and desires. Schedule time to cuddle and talk about your feelings. This will help you share your feelings both now and after the baby is born.
